Antan T U T R A, was born in 1964 in the town of Durres,Albania, started to paint when he was very young.
In 1982,he graduated from 'Jordan Misja' School of Fine Arts in Tirana,where he learned the basis of
representational arts: painting,drawing ,prospective and methodology of art.He continued his studies
at the Academy of Arts, Tirana from which he graduated in 1991.
In 1991,he settled in Italy,where he became the representative of the Albanian art.He exhibits in solo and group shows in Italy, France, Albania, and the U.S.
Hecurrently lives and works in Somers Point, New Jersey.
T U T R A says, The presentation of my paintings come from human presence with nature, by interpreting my emotions towards it. I strive for a contemporary improvisational style. My strong emotions towards nature make me stop and analyze my thoughts. I search to uncover the light and values in their own forms by concentrating on holding the uniform and true identity of the objects, while always holding the perfect harmony of nature.
